CSI matrimony is a mobile application designed to provide matrimony services. We ask for certain personal information, at the time of registration, to create your matrimonial profile as a candidate, or become an adviser to a candidate, so that other users on our mobile application may view your profile and establish contact with you, in case they are interested.

CSI matrimony runs on a technology platform provided by Wedviser People Connect Private Limited (referred to as Wedviser). The servers and databases are managed and maintained by Wedviser on behalf of CSI matrimony and hence the information provided on CSI matrimony will be shared with Wedviser for the purpose of providing matrimony and other related services.

CSI matrimony respects your privacy and recognizes the need to protect the personally identifiable information you share with us. We would like to assure you that we follow appropriate standards when it comes to protecting your privacy on our mobile application.

We track the Internet address of the domains from which people visit us and analyze this data for trends and statistics, but the individual user remains anonymous.

We use secure cloud servers like Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for storing your data. Specific data is also shared with other platforms for providing advanced services like Microsoft Cognitive Services for AI, Applozic for chat services, KAP system and MSG91 for SMS services, OneRing for missed call services, Facebook for photo sharing, etc..

We use a secure server whenever we handle credit card transactions to protect the credit card information of our users.

• What information do we collect from you?

  The information we gather from members and users who register on our mobile application includes, but may not be limited to, phone number, email id, name, religion, gender, date of birth, education details, occupation details and photographs.

  We collect information about the people and groups users are connected to and how they interact with them, such as the people they communicate with the most or the groups they like to share with. We also collect contact information they provide if they upload, sync or import this information (such as an address book) from a device.

  We collect information from or about the computers, phones, or other devices where you install or access our Services, depending on the permissions you've granted. We may associate the information we collect from your different devices, which helps us provide consistent Services across your devices. Here are some examples of the device information we collect:

  • Attributes such as the operating system, hardware version, device settings, file and software names and types, battery and signal strength, and device identifiers.

  We use Remarketing with Google Analytics to advertise online.

  Third-party vendors, including Google, may show our ads on mobile applications across the Internet.

  If you wish to make a payment towards a paid registration plan, some additional information, including a billing address, a credit card number and a credit card expiration date is also collected.

• How do we use the information we collect/track?

  CSI matrimony collects information from you to ensure that we are able to fulfill your requirements and deliver a personalized experience. By using this information to understand how you use and interact with our services and the people you're connected to, we are able to deliver our services, personalize content, and make suggestions for you.

  We conduct surveys and research, test features in development, and analyze the information we have to evaluate and improve products and services, develop new products or features, and conduct audits and troubleshooting activities.

  Your information will be shared with other users for the purposes of matrimonial alliances. Further this information will be shared with analytics and marketing individuals / organizations for the purpose of fine tuning the services and packages that are offered to you.

  We are bound to co-operate fully, should a situation arise, where we are required by law or legal process to provide information about a specific customer.
